PassedI'm passing on this one. The level is weak and the rejection is weak, and both go against the trend. (1) The level swept is the developing VAL, a tier-2 level that keeps moving and only formed this session. It isn't one of the obvious extremes most traders watch. The wick went only $20 below it, on a 11.8 BTC candle. The candle closed $8 above its open, so it is a doji, not a strong reclaim. (2) The order flow shows no absorption. The 5m delta is -15.46 BTC over 30 minutes and the session CVD is -258 BTC, both still pointing down. Buyers did not step in at the level. (3) The context points down. The 23:00–01:00 candles kept defending the previous day's low ($79,699.6) and the 01:30 candle broke it. Price has stayed below it since, so the market is accepting prices below. The 1H candle closed down, and price is under VWAP and the open. The 02:15, 02:30 and 02:45 candles each pushed back down into this same zone and none bounced. That looks like price grinding into the level, not rejecting it. (4) T1 is the zone where the lost previous-day low, VWAP and dVAH meet ($79,639). Old support often becomes resistance there. Untaken liquidity still sits just below: today's low at $79,234 and the previous week's low and VAL around $79,079–79,160. Price is more likely to go down for those than to bounce cleanly from a developing VAL. The R:R to T2 is 2.09:1, barely over the floor, and that doesn't make up for a low-quality setup. A sweep of the previous week's low with absorption would be a better long.View thesis →

PassedWeak SFP at a mid-value level. The level swept is the developing day POC (tier 2), which sits inside today's value and is not an obvious extreme that the market watches. The wick went only $15.5 below it, just $0.5 past the $15 minimum, so few stops were taken. The candle itself does not show a rejection: it opened at $80,510.1 and closed lower at $80,477.9, on only 16.7 BTC of volume. Order flow over the last 30 minutes is confirming_down (net -11.09 BTC). That is selling into the level, not the absorption a long SFP needs. In context, price has been rotating around the POC/VWAP/VAH cluster all session, below the day open ($80,736) and with no CCV in play. That is acceptance inside value, not a failed auction. The R:R to T2 is 2.04:1, barely above the floor, so there is no extra reward to make up for the poor quality. Rising open interest and CVD give a mild bullish lean, but that is not enough to take this trigger.View thesis →

PassedThis isn't a real swing failure, so I'm passing. The level swept is the developing day VAH at $80,801. It's tier 2 and it moves as the day builds, so it isn't one of the obvious highs most traders watch. Today's high at $80,897.9 and the previous day's high at $81,073.4 sit just above, and neither was touched. The candle opened at $80,799.9, only $1 under the level, and closed at $80,796, $4 below its open. That's a $25 poke and a $4 drift back, not a rejection. It traded 1.6 BTC in dead Sunday Asian hours. 5m taker flow is flat, net -0.52 BTC, with partial coverage, so I see no sign of buyers being absorbed or of sellers stepping in. No stops of any size were taken. Price is in the middle of a tight balance where everything stacks inside about $180: day open, VWAP, developing and previous-day POC/VAL/VAH and the previous week's VAL. There's no acceptance or failed auction outside value to fade. The CVD bearish divergence is mild and CCV is not in play, so nothing in the context makes up for the weak trigger. If price sweeps the day high or the $81,073 previous-day high and fails with real volume, that's the short I'd want.View thesis →

PassedThis is a weak SFP, so I'm passing. 1) The level is minor. pdVAH ($80,795) is an "other" tier value edge, not one of the obvious extremes most traders watch (#172). The level that matters above is pdH at $81,073, and the proposed stop at $81,016 sits just under it. A run to pdH to take the stops there would also take this stop. 2) The rejection has little behind it. The candle traded 6.2 BTC at 02:00 UTC on a Sunday, the wick was only $60 past the level, and Delta 5m is flat (+0.49 BTC, full coverage). Nothing shows sellers absorbing buyers at the level, so I can't call this a real failed auction (#176, #2116). 3) Location. Entry is inside balance, right on top of the densest support cluster of the session, $45 below: VWAP $80,701, dPOC/dVAL $80,636–80,642, pwVAL $80,669, D-nPOC $80,620 and the day open $80,736. Price has been holding that zone all session. The short has to break through all of it before T1 at pdEQ $80,076 is even reachable. That makes the paper 3.27:1 R:R unrealistic. 4) Context leans the other way. Price is recovering from the $79,079 pdL sweep. The 4H closed up, the 23:30 candle was a 251 BTC push higher, CVD is confirming up, 4h OI reads as a healthy uptrend, and CCV is not in play. A thin poke above a minor value edge doesn't beat that. I'd want a sweep of pdH with real volume and visible absorption before shorting here.View thesis →

PassedNo real swing failure. The swept pwVAL ($80,669) is buried in an 11-level cluster (dPOC, dVAH, dVAL, VWAP, D-open, dev high and low) inside today's balance range of $80,629 to $80,774. A $19 wick there is noise in a two-hour rotation, not a sweep of an obvious extreme with stops behind it (#172). Rejection quality is poor: the trigger candle opened $80,650.1 and closed higher at $80,661.5 (a green candle), on a $38 range and 5.6 BTC during thin Sunday 01:15 UTC trading. Delta 5m is flat (-0.21 BTC), so there is no absorption or seller response at the level. Context argues against a short: CVD confirming up (+309 BTC), 4h OI in a healthy uptrend, the 23:30 bid on 251 BTC put price back into value, and the 4H and 1H candles closed up. CCV is not in play. Price is accepted in value, not rejected from it. Wait for a clean sweep of pdH ($81,073) or the day's extremes.View thesis →

PassedThe level is minor. It's today's open at $80,736.1, only 30 minutes old, and not one of the obvious highs or lows most traders watch (#172). It sits inside a cluster around $80,680 (VWAP, today's POC and value area, last week's value area low) where price is just rotating. The rejection is thin. The wick went only $17.3 past the level, just over the $15 minimum. The candle closed up, near its high and only $13 under the level, on about 1.9 BTC with nearly empty 1-minute bars, so no stops were really taken. Order flow over the last 30 minutes was flat (+0.82 BTC net), with no sign of buyers being absorbed (#176, #2116). The context argues against a short. Yesterday price swept the previous day's low at $79,079 and rallied hard into the close, with 251 BTC on the 23:30 candle. The daily candle closed back up at $80,736. Open interest is in a healthy uptrend and the CVD is confirming up. A 5:1 R:R doesn't make up for a weak post-midnight wick at the open price, shorted against that recovery.View thesis →

PassedThe trend favours a short: price is below the previous day's low, the VWAP and the day open, and the delta is confirming down. The location is the problem. The level swept is the developing VAL, a tier-2 level that moves during the day and that few traders watch. The sweep candle traded only 30 BTC, so there is little evidence of real stops taken or sellers stepping in. Directly below is the previous week's low at $79,658, about $440 away. That weekly level is also this month's low so far, and that zone is where T1 sits. The 14:15 candle has just made a capitulation-style flush into that zone: 282 BTC traded, there was a 140 BTC spike at the $79,702 low on the 14:27 minute, and price closed back up by about $450. That looks like buyers absorbing selling at the weekly/monthly low rather than sellers being ready to break it. CCV reads long_bias. Open interest is falling over 4 hours while price drops, which suggests longs closing out rather than new shorts adding pressure. Entry is in the middle of the range, between the fresh flush low and the $80,400 resistance (previous day's low plus VWAP). With $399 of risk, T1 pays only about 1R, at a support that is likely to hold or to set up a long SFP. T2 at $77.25k is unlikely to be reached within 24 hours. I'll pass and watch for a cleaner short SFP at $80,400 or $80,670, or a long SFP at $79,658.View thesis →

PassedI'm passing because the level this trade depends on is weak. The level swept is the developing day POC (tier 2) at $80,620. Price has been rotating around it since 05:30. A POC is where the market has been trading and agreeing on price. It isn't an obvious high or low that other traders watch, so there's no pile of stops under it to run (#172, #2117). The wick went $56 below it, mostly in one 1m candle at 13:18 on about 4.5 BTC, on a 15m candle of 7.3 BTC. That is a dip inside a tight chop, not a swing failure.
Order flow doesn't help. Delta 5m is flat at -3.9 BTC, with no sign of buyers absorbing the selling at the level (#176, #2116). The 15m candle closed $14 above the level, inside the same $80,600–80,700 band price has sat in all morning, so the rejection is weak.
The bigger picture works against a long. The daily and 4H charts show lower highs from $84.8k. The last 4H candle closed down. Price is below the previous day's value area (VAL $81,212), and open interest is up 4% in 24h in a strong downtrend. The only recent support is 4h short covering and the CCV long bias.
The stop has a structural problem too. At $80,403 it sits just above the day low ($80,315) and the previous day's low ($80,375). Those are the real obvious lows, and liquidity there is likely to be taken before any move to $81,121. I would wait for a sweep and reclaim of the previous day's low or the day low, which are tier-1 levels with stops behind them, instead of buying a wick around the POC in the middle of a range.View thesis →

PassedThe idea makes sense on paper: price is under last week's value area low ($80,669), so a failed retest from below could be short continuation in the daily downtrend. But this candle doesn't show a real rejection.
1) The level isn't fresh. Price has traded back and forth through $80,669 all morning. The 07:00 and 07:15 candles reached $80,780 and $80,765, and the 06:00–08:30 candles all straddled it. The level sits inside the session's balance area, on top of the developing POC ($80,620), VWAP ($80,603) and developing VAH ($80,727). A wick of $39.6 into the middle of that chop isn't stops being taken at a level the market watches. It's just noise around fair value.
2) The rejection candle is almost empty. It opened at $80,641.4 and closed at $80,641.1 on 2.5 BTC, one of the thinnest candles of the session. Delta over the last 30 minutes is flat (+0.53 BTC), so no sellers are absorbing or stepping in at the level. The real flow in the past hour was the 82 BTC push up in the 12:25 5-minute bar, and the 1H candle closed strongly up from $80,414. Nothing has failed that move yet.
3) The context is against it. CCV shows a long bias, and the 4H open interest is rising (+1.1%). T1 at $80,387 is only $254 away against a $229 stop, so the first booking barely pays the risk. All the R:R comes from the far targets, and in a balanced session that's unlikely.
I'd want a sweep with real volume of a clean extreme, like today's high at $81,073 or yesterday's equilibrium cluster around $81,121, or price accepted under VWAP and the POC first.View thesis →

PassedThe swept level is the developing day POC ($80,620.5) in the middle of today's developing value (VAL $80,472 to VAH $80,727). Price has rotated around it all morning, so it acts as a magnet, not a level the market defends, and a $22.9 wick into it is normal chop inside value rather than a swing failure of an obvious high or low (#172). The rejection is poor: 4 BTC of volume and a candle that closed down (O 80,651 / C 80,641.4). The 'confirming_up' delta comes almost entirely from one 76 BTC print at 12:26 in the previous candle, not from absorption at this wick. The context leans bearish: daily and 4H closed down, lower highs on 4H and 1H, CVD bearish divergence (-43 BTC), 24h open interest backdrop a strong downtrend. The stop at $80,436 also sits just above the previous day's low / day low / day VAL zone ($80,387), the obvious liquidity target if price keeps rotating, so it would likely be hit by noise before T1. A better long would be a fresh sweep and reclaim of the previous day's low.View thesis →
Oct 24, 2026, 12:45 UTC
PassedThe wick only swept the developing day VAL ($80,474, tier 2) by $32. The tier-1 previous-day low at $80,374.7 sits just below and was not taken, so the stops this trade depends on are probably still resting there. The 15m candle closed red in mid-range. Its volume was mostly selling: the 09:05 5m candle traded 95.5 BTC and closed on its low, and the bounce after came on thin volume. Delta is net -96 BTC (partial coverage), CVD confirms down, and OI rose in the 4h downtrend, which suggests new shorts are being added. The daily chart shows lower highs from $84.8k, and price is below pwVAL and the month's developing VAL, so it looks like acceptance below value. There is no clear absorption or trapped sellers yet. The better long is a 15m close back above $80,374.7 after a sweep of the previous-day low.View thesis →
Oct 24, 2026, 09:15 UTC
PassedThe level isn't a real sweep. The dPOC ($80,620.5) sits in the middle of a tight balance at $80,600–80,680, and price has crossed it on almost every 15m candle since 05:15. A $35 wick through a developing POC in balance is rotation, not a failed auction at an obvious extreme. The trigger candle traded only 1.3 BTC, and the wick was one 0.8 BTC 1m print, so no absorption is visible. The 5m Delta shows a bearish divergence (-12.54 BTC, partial coverage) and CVD confirms down. The context is bearish: D, 4H and 1H all closed down, price is below the day open, and OI rose 2.53% over 4H while price fell, which points to shorts building. The stop would sit right above the obvious liquidity at pdL $80,374.7 and dLow $80,464.5, the next likely draw. I'd take a long on a real sweep and reclaim of the pdL with absorption, not this.View thesis →

PassedThis is a weak SFP at a level in the middle of the range, and the context points the other way. (1) The level: the session VWAP and the developing POC/VAH sit in the middle of today's balance ($80,464–$81,073). That is fair value, not an obvious high that other participants are guarding (#172). (2) The rejection is poor. The candle closed UP, at $80,669.5 against a $80,653.4 open. The close is only $18 below the VWAP and right on the pwVAL ($80,669). The wick went $92 above the VWAP on just 5.3 BTC, in thin Saturday Asia trade. That looks like noise inside the range, not stops being run and rejected. (3) Order flow does not confirm it: Delta 5m is flat (+3.55 BTC, partial coverage), with no sign of sellers absorbing buyers at the high. (4) The context leans long: CVD shows a bullish divergence, the CCV bias is long and its acceptance is armed, and the pdL ($80,374.7) was already swept and reclaimed overnight. (5) The structure is thin: T1 is $218 away against $272 of risk. To reach T2 at the pwL, price has to break through the pdL/dLow and the dVAL first, against the order flow. The 3.7:1 R:R is mostly on paper.View thesis →

PassedThe swept level is the developing day POC, which price has been crossing back and forth for over an hour (05:15 to 06:15). It's the middle of value, not an extreme with stops parked beyond it. The wick ($80,575) didn't even take the 06:00 low ($80,549.5), so no new liquidity was taken. The rejection is weak: a $100 candle on 8 BTC in a thin session, closing at $80,640, still below the zone it claims to reclaim (VWAP $80,696, pwVAL $80,669, dVAH $80,721). Delta is flat to slightly negative (-20.85 BTC, partial coverage) with no sign of absorption at the low. Context leans down: 4H lower highs from $84.8k and OI up 1.45% over 4h while price fell. The obvious liquidity is the pdL $80,374.7 / dVAL / dLow zone just below, and the proposed stop at $80,414 sits inside it, so a normal sweep of that low would stop us out first. A sweep and reclaim of pdL would be the long worth taking; this one isn't.View thesis →
Oct 24, 2026, 06:30 UTC
PassedThis is a weak sweep of a weak level, with no absorption and the context against a long. The swept level is the developing day value area low (dVAL, $80,612). It is tier 2 and moves as the session trades lower, so it is not an obvious extreme most participants watch (#172). The rejection is thin. The candle opened and closed at the same price, $80,621.4, only $9 back above the level after a $38.6 wick. Volume was 3.9 BTC in a dead session. The previous 15-minute candle also closed at $80,621.4, so price is stalling here rather than being reclaimed. Delta 5m over the last 30 minutes is flat at net -2.42 BTC, so no buyer is stepping in at the level. Price is still below the session VWAP ($80,742.7) and the previous week's value area low ($80,669), so it is not accepted back into value. D and 4H have stepped down from the $84.8k high, and open interest is in a weakening downtrend. The bigger problem is below. The previous day's low ($80,374.7) is the obvious untouched liquidity and sits under the proposed stop ($80,412.2). A run to that low would take this stop. A sweep and reclaim of that low is the better long setup to wait for.View thesis →
Oct 24, 2026, 05:45 UTC
PassedThe level swept is the daily VWAP, a tier-2 fair-value line, and price has been rotating around it for about three hours. The 15m candles since 01:00 sit in a tight $80,700–$80,950 range. A $36 poke below the session mean inside that chop is noise, not a failed auction at a high or low the market really watches. The meaningful sweep already happened earlier: the reclaim of the previous day's low ($80,374.7) at 23:00. The wick here did not reach the previous week's VAL ($80,669) or the developing VAL ($80,600), the stronger parts of the zone. There is also no participation. The SFP candle traded only 3.0 BTC in dead Asian hours, and the last hour traded just 9.1 BTC. Delta over the last 30 minutes is flat (-1.63 BTC), so I see no absorption and no aggressive buyers stepping in at the level. The wider order flow leans the other way. CVD is confirming down, open interest is slowly falling, and price has accepted below the previous day's value and the previous week's POC, with the 4H closing down. The CCV long bias alone is not enough. A long built on a low-volume VWAP tick with T1 sitting right on the day's high and POC cluster has poor odds. I'd rather wait for a clean sweep of $80,600/$80,669 or of the previous day's low, with real volume.View thesis →
Oct 24, 2026, 04:00 UTC
PassedNo real stop run happened here, so there is nothing to fade. The wick went $27 under the session VWAP, a tier-2 midpoint level, not one of the obvious highs or lows most traders watch. It did not reach the stronger levels in its zone: pwVAL at $80,669 and dVAL at $80,572 were never touched. The whole 15m candle traded 1.4 BTC, and the 5m bar that made the low traded 0.3 BTC. That is a drift through the level in a quiet Asian session, not stops getting taken. Order flow shows no absorption: Delta 5m is flat at -9.96 BTC net, and CVD is still confirming down (-127 BTC). The bigger picture leans bearish too. The day candle closed down from $84.2k, and price is still below the day open ($81,048) and the developing POC. The real liquidity event was the sweep and reclaim of pdL at $80,375 around 23:00, which has already played out. This VWAP poke is just chop between that low and the dVAH/open zone at $81.1k. The CCV long bias isn't enough to make up for a rejection with no participation. I'll wait for a sweep with real volume at an obvious level, like another test of pdL or a clean reclaim of value.View thesis →

PassedI'm passing because this is not a real swing failure at pwVAL ($80,669). It's a low-volume dip on the way back up. Price had already broken below this level well before this candle: the 00:30, 00:45 and 01:00 candles all traded under it, down to $80,464. The stops under pwVAL were taken back then. The sweep worth noting was the earlier one into pdL ($80,374.7) and the day's low. This candle opened only $11 above the level, then dipped $79 below it on 1.4 BTC of volume. That's close to nothing. The 1m candles at the low traded 0.0 to 0.5 BTC, so I don't see a stop run or any buyers absorbing selling. Order flow doesn't back it either: 5m delta is flat (+2.4 BTC), session CVD is falling (-141.6 BTC), and the last closed 1H candle closed down near its low. Open interest is flat, so no one was forced out. The close at $80,721.9 is just back at VWAP in the middle of the range, not a clear rejection from an extreme. CCV leans long, but that alone doesn't make up for a sweep with no volume. The stop sits about $290 away, under the day's low cluster, so I'd be paying full risk on a thin, unconvincing setup.View thesis →
Oct 24, 2026, 01:45 UTC
PassedThe trade is a short taken right on top of support. The level swept is the developing VAL at $80,550. It is tier 2, and it is still forming, so it moves as the session builds value. It is not one of the obvious extremes the market watches (#172). The wick went only $82 past it, as a small bounce inside a 45-minute push lower. That reads more like a pause in the move down than a swing failure of a real high.
Location is the bigger problem. Entry at $80,491 is $27 above today's low ($80,464.5) and only about $116 above the previous day's low ($80,374.7), a tier-1 level. At 23:10 the previous day's low was already swept and reclaimed: price bounced from $80,374.7 to $81,064. That was a long-side SFP at that low, and this short sells right back into it.
The last 1-minute bar printed 28.6 BTC of selling into $80,464.5 but closed $27 off the low. That looks as much like absorption at support as follow-through. The CCV bias is long, the 24h open interest backdrop shows a strong downtrend but 4h open interest is flat, and funding is neutral. T1 at the previous week's low ($79,658) needs the previous day's low to break first. The 10.7:1 to T2 at $77,254 depends on a target that far, not on a good stop.
The negative delta and the downtrend do favour shorts. But a weak, still-forming level, a shallow sweep, and entry on a tier-1 low that already held once are not an SFP worth taking. I'd rather wait for a sweep of a real high, like the VWAP / previous week's VAL zone near $80,710 or the day open / POC near $81,050–81,100, or a clean break and acceptance below the previous day's low.View thesis →
