PasseThis isn't a real swing failure. It's noise at a point of control (POC) in the middle of a balanced range. The level swept is pwPOC at $81,579.5, which is the week's fair-value price, not an obvious high with stops resting beyond it. Price has crossed it again and again all morning: the 15m range since 03:00 is $81,375 to $81,888, and the 10:15 candle already traded up to $81,705.9. So there was no pool of stops above it to run. The wick only went $27.9 past the level, on a 0.6 BTC candle with almost no 1m volume. No one was trapped, and there was nothing for anyone to absorb. Delta is flat (-1.42 BTC, partial coverage) and shows no aggressive selling at the level. The context doesn't support a short either: CVD shows a bullish divergence, open interest is drifting lower, and the change-in-control-of-value (CCV) bias is not in play. Price is sitting on the pd_poc / dev_poc / VWAP / dev_val cluster, right at fair value. That is rotation, not a rejection from an extreme. The 2.48:1 on paper depends on price leaving balance, and nothing here shows that it will. I'd rather wait for a sweep of a real extreme, such as the day's high around $81,889 to $81,929 with the week open, or pwVAH, or pdL.Voir la thèse →

PasseThe VWAP sweep doesn't show a real rejection. The wick went $24.5 above VWAP ($81,546.0) in the first minute of the candle. Price then dropped to $81,407 and climbed back, and the 15m closed up at $81,513.2, only about $8 under VWAP and in the upper part of its range. That looks like price chopping around fair value, not a failed auction. The level is VWAP plus the developing VAL, the previous day's POC and the previous week's POC, which is the middle of today's balance (value $81,423–$81,850). That's not one of the obvious highs or lows other traders are watching for stops (#172), and very few stops would sit $24 above it. Volume is very thin: 6.8 BTC on the 15m, and close to zero on the 1m bars that made the high. The −6.62 BTC delta has only partial coverage and is too small to show absorption. The context leans the other way too: CVD shows a bullish divergence (+24.9), CCV is not in play, and price has been rotating inside the $81,400–$81,890 range all session. A short from the middle of value has no edge here. I'd rather wait for a sweep of a real extreme, such as the day high/VAH/week open near $81,890–$81,970, or the previous day's low at $80,789.Voir la thèse →

PasseThe level counts on paper: pwPOC, tier 1, sitting with the VWAP and the developing POC. But nothing at it looks like a real swing failure. (1) The sweep is tiny: the wick went $21.8 below pwPOC, barely over the $15 minimum, and the low of $81,557.7 does not take out a swing low anyone was watching. The obvious lows that hold stops are much lower: the day low at $80,991, the prior-day low at $80,789 and the prior-week value area low at $80,669. (2) There is almost no participation. The SFP candle traded 1.8 BTC, among the lightest of the session, and the 1m bars during the wick show 0.0-0.3 BTC. So no stops were run and no sellers were absorbed at the level. Delta 5m is flat at +3.2 BTC on partial coverage, which shows no absorption either way. (3) Where price sits: a point of control is the middle of value, where price tends to settle, not an edge to fade from. Price has been rotating between about $81,400 and $81,890 all session, and the 15m and 1H profiles have their POCs right here, so this is an ordinary mid-range rotation and not a failed auction at an extreme. (4) The trend is against it: yesterday's daily candle rejected the $84.2k highs and closed down near its low, the last 4H candle closed down, and the CCV is not in play. The bullish CVD divergence is the only point in favour, and on this little volume it is not enough. T1 at $81,903 is the top of today's range, which has already capped price twice. I would rather wait for a sweep of the real lows ($80,990 / $80,790) or a clean reclaim from the edge of value.Voir la thèse →

PasseI'm passing. The sweep at pwPOC $81,579.5 / dev VAL is real on paper, but the rejection and the context both argue against a long.
1) Weak rejection. The candle closed red ($81,723.6 open to $81,623.3 close), only $44 back above the level and in the lower third of its range. Its larger wick is the upper one: price rallied to the weekly open at $81,969 and was sold the whole way down before it swept the low. That reads as sellers in control, not buyers reclaiming the level. The snapshot price of $81,568.9 is already back below pwPOC.
2) Order flow doesn't support it. Delta 5m shows a bearish divergence, net -5.26 BTC, with complete coverage. CVD is confirming down (-143.8 BTC). I see no absorption at the low: the 5m candles into the sweep had steady sell volume, and the bounce off $81,429 came on thin buying.
3) The trend is against it. Today has dropped about $2,800 from the $84,261 high in an unbroken run of lower highs and lower lows on 1H and 4H. Price is below the daily VWAP ($82,394) and the day open, CCV is not in play, and open interest is sliding. A POC is a value level inside the prior week's value area (pwVAL $80,669 sits below), not an obvious extreme like a pdL or pwL that stop-runs cluster around. Nothing here shows a rejection of lower prices; it looks more like rotation toward the bottom of last week's value.
4) T1 is the weekly open at $81,969, which this same candle already rejected hard. That makes the first target the level that just failed.
A pwPOC sweep in a clean downtrend, with a red close, bearish delta and no absorption, isn't an SFP worth taking.Voir la thèse →

PasseThis doesn't count as a real swing failure. Price got $25 above the developing VAL ($81,815) for one or two minutes on 4.1 BTC, the lowest volume of the session, and the 15-minute candle closed slightly up (O 81,757 → C 81,765.5). That is a drift, not a rejection. Nobody's stops were taken and no sellers stepped in. The level is also weak: a tier-2 developing VAL that moves during the day, not one of the obvious extremes most traders watch. And price was already trading below it after the selloff from 84,261, so the "sweep" only touches the edge of value from underneath. The location is the bigger problem. Just $214 below entry sits a heavy support cluster: today's low at 81,522.9, the previous week's POC at 81,579.5, the developing month POC at 81,527.5, and the developing week VAL at 81,715. Price bounced hard from there at 09:00. T1 is set right on that support, and to reach T2 the move has to break through it after a day that has already fallen about 2.9%. That leaves a short in late-selloff territory. The 4H and day-wide downtrend and the negative delta are real, but they belong to the move that has already happened, not to this level. Little reward is left before support, and the trigger itself is weak, so I'm passing. I'd look for a cleaner sweep of a tier-1 level (pwVAH, pdL with VWAP) or a clean break of the 81,520 support.Voir la thèse →

PasseThis isn't a real swing failure. Price had already broken down through the pdPOC ($83,337.5) on the 01:45 close after an $1,100 drop in 45 minutes. This candle opened below the level and only retested it from underneath with a $46 wick. That's a pullback after a breakdown, not stops being run above a watched high, and pdPOC is an 'other'-tier level, not an obvious extreme. The entry at $83,202.6 sells straight into stacked support: pdVAL $83,109, dev low $83,147 and pmVAH $83,245 (tier 1). That's why T1 is only $35.6 away and does nothing as a target. Delta 5m is flat (-3.74 BTC, complete coverage), with no absorption or rejection at the level. The daily context was bullish yesterday (strong close up, above pwH), and today's drop is momentum, not a failed auction. With the R:R to T2 at only 2.04:1 and dependent on breaking tier-1 support first, I'm not chasing a short at the bottom of an exhausted move.Voir la thèse →
22 oct. 2026, 02:15 UTC
PasseThis is a swing failure in name only. The previous week's high at $84,226.5 stopped being an untested high yesterday. Price traded through it to $84,820.8 and spent most of the session above it, so the stops behind it were already taken. Today it is just a level inside a range that has already been traded on both sides. The 'dev_high' in the cluster is this same candle's high, so it adds no separate liquidity. The rejection is weak too. The candle closed green at $84,225.5, near its high and only $1 under the level, with a $35.5 upper wick. That is a close back at the level, not a clear rejection of it. Participation is very thin: 4.5 BTC on the 15m candle and about 0.3 BTC on the 5m candle that made the wick, during the quiet Asian session. Order flow was flat (net -2.71 BTC), so there is no sign of sellers absorbing buyers at the level. Context: price is pulling back inside yesterday's up day, which closed above its open. The 1H closed up and the CCV is not in play, so nothing shows the market rejecting value here. The stop needs $204, close to 0.25%, to bet on a reaction the tape does not show. Pass.Voir la thèse →

PasseThe swept level isn't one the market really watches yet. It is the daily VWAP 30 minutes into a new session. The VWAP, developing POC, VAH, VAL and high are all packed into about $200, built on roughly 45 BTC of volume, so taking out $84,131 removes almost no stops. The rejection is also weak. The SFP candle opened at $84,183, wicked $59 under, and closed red at $84,137. It traded only 4.7 BTC, during dead Asian hours. That shows no reclaim and no sign of trapped shorts. The 1m and 5m data show price drifting lower on almost no volume rather than a sweep being absorbed. The Delta 5m reading (confirming_up, +19.5 BTC) mostly comes from the 00:00–00:10 bounce off $83,981, not from buying at this wick. The wider context leans the other way. The 4H and 1H both closed down after failing below pdH at $84,820, price slid about $770 into the day open, and the snapshot CVD is confirming_down. Reaching T1 at $84,578 would need price to push back through all of that supply. If I want a long here, the better place is a sweep of the day open / dev low around $83,980 or of pdEQ at $83,657, with real volume and a strong close back above.Voir la thèse →
22 oct. 2026, 00:30 UTC
PasseThe level is a real one. Last week's high at $84,226.5 broke earlier today, and this is the first proper retest from above. The rejection is the problem. The SFP candle closed red ($84,339.1 to $84,271.1), only $44.6 back above the level and below the middle of its own range. It was a thin late-night candle (13.9 BTC), and the lows of the last few 15-minute candles keep stepping down from $84,743.9. The order flow does not back a long: Delta 5m is confirming_down at -6.85 BTC with complete coverage, so sellers drove the sweep and I see no sign of buyers soaking it up. The CCV has a short bias and its acceptance reading is 'failed'. Open interest fell 0.74% over the last 4 hours, so the move up looks more like shorts covering than fresh buying. The level was also already pierced at 19:00 (low $84,066.0), so its stops have mostly been taken. With a reward to T2 of only 2.03 times the risk, right at the floor, this is a weak rejection in a falling short-term move with sellers in control. A retest that holds would need buyers stepping in at the level, and I don't see that here.Voir la thèse →
21 oct. 2026, 23:15 UTC
PasseThis isn't a real swing failure. The dVAH at $84,590 is a developing level, and price has been churning around it since 15:00. The 15m profile POC ($84,587) and the 5m POC ($84,585) sit right on it. So the $18 wick went into the middle of a seven-hour balance area. It didn't take out an obvious extreme that traders were watching, and no stops were run. The rejection is weak too. The candle closed red, from $84,743.9 down to $84,650.9, finishing below the middle of its range. Order flow shows no absorption: Delta 5m is flat at -22.75 BTC and CVD shows a bearish divergence. The CCV leans short and its acceptance check failed, open interest is falling as shorts cover, and volume is thin late in the evening. The ladder doesn't hold up either. T1 is only $170 away at the day high ($84,820.8), which has already capped price twice today. The 10.9:1 R:R comes entirely from T2 at the previous month's high, $87,357.8, which is 3.2% away and unlikely to be reached within 24 hours from a chop-zone entry. I'm passing and waiting for a sweep of a real extreme: the day high or low, the previous week's high at $84,226.5, or the VWAP.Voir la thèse →
21 oct. 2026, 22:15 UTC
PasseI'm passing. The trade only clears the floor on paper. 1) The level is weak. The developing VAH ($84,580) is not a swing low with stops resting under it. It moves as the day's profile builds, and with today's rally it has simply followed price up. A dip of $28.8 under a line that keeps shifting isn't a sweep of liquidity the market watches (#172, #2117). It's only tier 2, and nothing stronger sits near it. 2) The rejection is poor. The candle closed DOWN, at $84,583.9, just $3.9 back above the level and near its low. Volume was 7.4 BTC, and the final 1m candles that made the wick traded about 1 BTC. That's late-session drift inside the 15m value area ($83,900–$84,675), not a stop-run that got bought back hard. 3) The context is against it. CCV is short_bias and acceptance has failed. Open interest is falling on short covering (4h −0.42%, 24h −2.98%), so the rally to $84,820 came from shorts closing, not new longs being built. The 4H candle closed down off the day high, and funding is slightly negative. The 32.8 BTC "confirming_up" delta is spread over very thin volume and doesn't show absorption at the level. 4) The ladder is weak. T1 is the day high only $237 away, a likely place to sell off again. T2 ($87,357) is the previous month's high, $2.8k away with no structure in between. That makes the 13.7:1 ratio unrealistic inside a 24-hour horizon. Overall there's no real sweep, no clean reclaim and no supporting flow, so I'll wait for an SFP at a level the market actually watches, such as the previous week's high at $84,226 or the VWAP at $83,757.Voir la thèse →
21 oct. 2026, 21:00 UTC
PasseThis isn't a real swing failure. It is price rotating around a developing POC. The dPOC at $83,337.5 is where price has been balancing since about 09:30. The 15m candles have traded through it back and forth for over two hours (lows at $83,269, $83,212 and $83,136.8), so no stops were sitting under it to be taken. A POC pulls price in; it isn't one of the obvious extremes everyone watches. The wick went only $39.7 under the dPOC and about $25 under pdH. It never reached pmVAH at $83,245, the tier-1 level in the cluster. The rejection is weak. The candle closed red, below its open. Its upper wick (about $82) is bigger than its lower wick (about $45). Volume was thin at 10.4 BTC. The 1m chart shows no push off the low, just a drift back to the POC. Order flow doesn't help: the Delta 5m is flat (+8.4 BTC, partial coverage), so there's no sign of absorption at the low. The context points the other way too: CCV has a short bias with failed acceptance, and CVD shows a bearish divergence while price sits under the $83,523 month open and below this morning's $83,587.9 high. With no swept liquidity, a weak close and flow and context against a long, I see no edge here, even though the R:R works on paper.Voir la thèse →

PasseThis is not a real swing failure. The stops above the previous day's high ($83,322.7) were already taken an hour ago: the 08:45 candle ran to $83,587.9. Price then closed above the level on the 09:00 and 09:15 fifteen-minute candles, so it was accepted up there, and only fell back below on the 09:30 close. This candle opened below the level and poked $48 above it on thin volume. That is a re-test from underneath, not a fresh sweep of untaken liquidity. The rejection is weak too: the candle closed green (O $83,304.3, C $83,309.9), only $13 under the level, inside a tight cluster with the developing POC around $83,337. Order flow is mixed. Taker delta is negative (-15 BTC, partial coverage) and the CCV leans short. Against that, CVD is confirming up, open interest is rising in a healthy uptrend on both 4h and 24h, the day is +2.4%, and the daily trend has climbed from the $81k lows. The proposed stop at $83,538 also sits just below the month open, developing VAH and today's high ($83,523–$83,588), the area most likely to be run next. Moving the stop above that high would barely keep 2:1, and only by reaching further for T2. Low-quality rejection at a level that has already been swept, against the trend: I'm passing.Voir la thèse →
21 oct. 2026, 10:00 UTC
PasseThis is a weak rejection on a low-value sweep. The close of $82,657.5 is only $0.5 above the pdVAH at $82,657.0, and the candle closed red under its open, so this is not a convincing reclaim. The obvious level here is today's low at $82,604.1, tested three times since 02:15, and this wick stopped short of it ($82,615.5). Those stops are likely still resting there and look like the next draw. There is no absorption or initiative at the level: delta is flat at +0.56 BTC, the candle traded only 4.7 BTC in the dead Asia session, and the 5m bars around it traded 0.0-2.6 BTC. The context is also against a long. CCV bias is short, open interest has weakened over 4h, and price has fallen below today's VAL ($82,882), VWAP ($82,917) and the day open, so the market is moving out of value, not back into it. The bullish CVD divergence alone does not make up for this. I'd want a 15m sweep of $82,604 that closes firmly back above it with volume and positive delta.Voir la thèse →
21 oct. 2026, 03:15 UTC
PasseThe level swept isn't one the market watches. Thirty minutes into the day, the developing POC, VAH and high were built mostly by this candle; the "high" is just its own wick. The candle didn't reject either: it opened at 82,961.5 and closed strongly up at 83,071.6, only $28 off its high, and the wick went just $16.5 past the level. Delta 5m is confirming up (+36 BTC, full coverage) and CVD is +196 confirming up, so there's no absorption. The context favours longs: 4H and D closed up, price is +2% on 24h and 24h OI reads as a healthy uptrend. The obvious liquidity is just above at pdH 83,322.7 and pmVAH, which the stop at 83,266 sits below, so a run to the real high would stop this trade out. The SFP worth waiting for is a sweep of pdH 83,322.7 that closes back below it, not this one.Voir la thèse →
21 oct. 2026, 00:30 UTC
PasseThis isn't a real swing failure. It's chop around a point of control. The level swept is the previous day's POC at $82,440.5 (tier n/a). Price has crossed it again and again since the 15:00 dump. The 15:15, 15:30, 16:00 and 16:30 candles all had wicks between $82,507 and $82,579, and closes sat on both sides of it. A POC in the middle of a range pulls price back and forth; it is not an obvious high that traders are watching. The rejection is weak too. The candle closed up (O $82,337.8, C $82,433.5), only about $7 under the level, and gave back less than half of its wick. The wick also stopped right around the previous day's VAH at $82,559 rather than taking any meaningful liquidity. Order flow shows nothing at the level: delta was flat (+1.34 BTC), with no absorption and no aggressive selling, and volume was very thin (10 BTC on the 15m). The bigger picture is against a short. Open interest is in a healthy uptrend, CVD is confirming up, the 4H candle closed strongly up from $81.4k, and the 15:00 flush has already been absorbed into a sideways range above the VWAP. Shorting from the middle of that range, with the 4H uptrend behind it, has no edge. I'd wait for a sweep of a real extreme, such as the previous day's high at $83,050 or today's high at $83,322, or a reclaim at the bottom of the range.Voir la thèse →
20 oct. 2026, 16:45 UTC
PasseThe level is strong: dVAH, pwVAH, pdEQ and pdPOC all sit around $82,383. But this candle is not a real swing failure at that level.
1. Price has been accepted there, not rejected. The 15:00, 15:15 and 15:30 candles all closed below $82,391, at $82,302.6, $82,352.9 and $82,354.0. Price has spent about 45 minutes on both sides of the level, so it is acting as a balance point. The SFP rule wants little time spent beyond the level, and that is not what happened here.
2. The rejection at the close is weak. The candle closed down: it opened at $82,478.6 and closed at $82,405.1, only $14 above the level. It traded just 7.6 BTC, the thinnest 15-minute candle since the move began. Delta is flat at +3.5 BTC. Nobody stepped in to absorb at the sweep, and no stops were really taken.
3. It did not sweep the low that matters. The obvious local low is the $82,073–82,095 flush at 15:10–15:15. This wick only reached $82,259.3, well above it. The proposed stop at $82,094.5 sits just above that untested low, which is the natural target for a stop hunt.
4. The context is against it. The 1H candle rejected from $83,322 and closed down, giving back most of the impulse. The CCV is not in play. And the R:R to T2 is only 2.08:1, with T1 just $154 away at pdVAH.
This is chop in the middle of value after a failed breakout, not a failed auction. Pass, and wait for a clean sweep of $82,073 or a reclaim of $82,559.Voir la thèse →
20 oct. 2026, 16:15 UTC
PasseThe swept level is the developing day POC in the middle of a six-hour balance range ($81,185-$81,630). In a rotating day the POC pulls price back to it; it is not an obvious extreme with stops behind it. The wick went just $49.5 past it on 6.2 BTC of volume, and the 15m candle actually closed slightly UP (O 81,281.4, C 81,286.0), so the rejection is weak. Delta 5m is flat (+0.42 BTC, full coverage), so there is no absorption above the level, and CVD shows a bullish divergence. The entry sits right on the developing VAL ($81,258) and the 15m VAL (~$81,275), and the candle's low tested that support exactly, so this is selling into value-area support in a balanced range. The CCV is not in play, so there is no trend to lean on. The R:R works on paper, but the location and the order flow don't support a short. Wait for a sweep of a real extreme, such as the previous day's low / VWAP zone (~$81,570) or the day's low.Voir la thèse →
20 oct. 2026, 13:30 UTC
PasseThis isn't a clean swing failure at the weekly open. The same 15m candle also went $40 above today's high ($82,041) and closed back under it, so it took liquidity on both sides. It closed red, $12 below its open, and only $18 above the weekly open ($81,969). That is chop at a level, not a rejection. Volume was very thin: 10.7 BTC on the 15m candle, and the dip under the weekly open came on about 2.5 BTC on the 1m chart. Nobody was clearly stopped out and nobody visibly absorbed the selling. The Delta 5m line goes against the long: a bearish divergence with net -12.51 BTC, so taker selling grew as price pushed into the zone. Open interest supports that reading. The 4H move from $81,068 up to $82,000 is short covering (OI -0.36%), not new longs, inside a 24h strong-downtrend backdrop. The CCV is not in play. Price is also pressed right under today's high, the same cluster as the weekly open. A long would be bought straight into overhead supply after a $930 short-covering run, with no sign of buyers absorbing at the level. The weekly open is a tier-2 level and the market treats it as a midpoint, not an obvious extreme. The 2.36:1 R:R does not make up for a rejection this weak and order flow that points the other way.Voir la thèse →

PasseThe 15m candle closing 12:15 UTC closed THROUGH dVAH $83,635 / W-Open $83,637.5 / M-Open $83,523 — a thrust trigger, but current price $83,687 is the extension, not the retest; entering here is chasing the trigger candle's own body top. The method requires price to RETURN to the broken level (~$83,635) before entry, and no pullback has printed. Entry is the only missing element; structure (reclaim of VWAP, dVAH, week/month opens) and corroboration (CVD bullish divergence, delta 5m confirming up, Greed 62) are aligned.Voir la thèse →
